30-Day Nutrition Challenge: Celebrate Your Healthy Achievements

January 11, 2014 By Christina Chitwood30-Day Challenges, health, Nutrition

30-Day Nutrition Challenge: Celebrate Your Healthy AchievementsYou’ve made it to the big 10, day 10 of our 30-Day Nutrition Challenge! Guess what? You’re a third of the way to  completing this challenge successfully! To congratulate you on joining us this far, we want to help you celebrate your success. 🙂

Celebrate Your Success

Pamper your body. Celebrating should mean treating your body with the best instead of hurting your body with overindulgence in unhealthy food and drink.

10 Ways to Celebrate Your Healthy Accomplishments

Here are 10 great ways to celebrate your healthy accomplishments.

1. Get a New Outfit

2. Have a Spa Day

3. Get a New Hairstyle

4. Play a Fun Sport

5. Get a Manicure and/or Pedicure

6. Get New Exercise Equipment

7. Buy a New Health and Fitness Book or Workout Series

8. Stay in a Nice Hotel

9. Take a Weekend Trip

10. Go Out to Eat a Healthy Meal

The whole point is to treat your body and not just your taste buds.

Big Rewards for Big Goals

The more significant your goal is the bigger the reward should be. All rewards should be relative in size to the goal. Reward yourself often. Having weekly awards for achieving weekly goals is a great way to celebrate your successes. Monthly goals are an even bigger deal. Therefore, you could have a larger reward. You can even do rewards for dealing with a situation well. For example, maybe you were at a party where there were some yummy but unhealthy foods available that you really wanted. If you decided to wait until after the party to have something healthier, you could give yourself a small reward for this.

Have Fun with Your Celebrations!

Have fun with your celebrations! Life is meant to be celebrated, and your good health means you can enjoy life even more.
