Congratulations! Today you will have made it through the 7th day and your first week of the 30-Day Nutrition Challenge. Therefore, it’s time to do your first week’s review. Remember, it’s not too late to join us if you haven’t already. Start by setting your main reason.
Review Your Reasons
It’s nearly impossible to stay motivated without a reason for your hard work. If you haven’t already come up with your reason or reasons for doing this challenge, discover your reason and write it down.
The key is to find an important reason for why you’re doing what you’re doing. Do you want to complete a marathon? Do you want to lose weight so you can play with your kids more? Do you want to be healthy so you can experience a longer life with your family?
Have a good brainstorm and write your reasons down.
Where is Your Passion?
Without the drive of passion and desire to achieve a goal, very little will happen. If you decide your reason for doing the challenge is to lose weight, but weight-loss really isn’t something you care about all that much (it just seems like the right thing to do), you are in for a rough ride. That’s not to say your reason is not a valid one. It might simply take a little more soul searching to discover the real burning desire, the real force that will drive you to succeed.
Once you have written down your reason, think, and think hard. See if you can discover that fire that will keep driving you to succeed in the challenge. Talk to your partner, family and friends about it. Chances are they might have some insight that will help you uncover your passion.
Recommit to Success
Now that you have a reason written down and your own personal driving force behind it, nothing can stop you! Write it all down into 2 sentences. The first as an affirmation in the present perfect tense (I have) stating your reason. The second as a statement stating your passion behind it.
Below is my own challenge, reason and drive.
I have completed my 30-Day Nutrition Challenge on February 1, 2014, because I want to discover if eating a sugar-free diet will help my energy levels.
I need to know this to help me decide how I will raise my family.
