30-Day Nutrition Challenge: Plan What to Do Next

January 30, 2014 By Tom30-Day Challenges, Fitness

30-Day Nutrition Challenge Plan What To Do NextCongratulations! You have almost competed the 30-Day Nutrition Challenge! This is day 29, and you are going strong. Now it is time to look forward.

Why Now?

I can speak with experience that when a goal is complete, you are often at your weakest mentally. When you committed to taking on the 30-Day Nutrition Challenge, you began sending commands to your brain with your chosen intentions. Your brain will follow your instructions very carefully and effectively … as long as you truly mean and believe in the instructions and there is passion behind your reason for wanting to achieve the goal.

This is a very powerful tool, but the key is being specific. If you send your brain the instructions to complete the 30-Day Nutrition Challenge, that is what it will do. What happens on day 31? Without new valid instructions, the brain gets confused. It is not sure what it is supposed to be doing. So it is important to know your next move ahead of time.

So What Comes Next?

Well that part is up to you. Think back over the last few weeks.

  • What have you enjoyed about the challenge?
  • What have you found tough with the challenge?
  • If you did the challenge again, what would you do differently?
  • What changes would you like to keep after the challenge is complete?
  • What foods make you feel the best?

Use your answers to these questions to come up with a new plan for your diet. Will you start eating gluten again but stay away from sugar? Will you keep up the vegetarianism but allow some sugar? Will you stick to a gluten free, sugar free, vegetarian diet from now on?

Whatever you decide, write it down. Stick to it.

“Whatever you decide, write it down. Stick to it.”

So incredibly true. It really doesn’t matter what you decide, as long as you are consistent about it you will be able to meet your weight loss goals.
