30-Day Nutrition Challenge: Work it out!

January 12, 2014 By Tom30-Day Challenges, Fitness, Nutrition

30-Day Nutrition Challenge Work it outCongratulations on clearing day 10 of the 30-Day Nutrition Challenge! We hope you are feeling better after 10 days of eating no sugar, no gluten, no meat, or even all three. If you want to start feeling even better, keep reading.

Work It Out

By eliminating some problematic food items from your diet, you are hopefully feeling more energetic. If you want to feel even more full of life, then it’s time to break a sweat. You will be amazed at how great you feel after working out whilst on a good, clean diet.

The Workout

Try this simple but effective feel-good workout below. Do it now!

Warm up:

  •  Jog on the spot for 30 seconds
  • High knees for 30 seconds
  • Jumping Jacks for 30 seconds
  • Butt Kicks for 30 seconds

Circuit:

  • Plank for 30 seconds
  • Side plank for 30 seconds each side
  • Superman for 3 x 10 seconds
  • Rear lunge x 10 each leg
  • Mountain climbers for 30 seconds
  • Squats x 20
  • Burpees for 30 seconds

Rest for 1 minute.

If you are in a rush, go straight to cool down.

If you have more time, repeat the circuit 2 more times for a total of 3.

If you are feeling tough, see how many circuits you can perform with good form in an hour!

Cool Down:

Work from feet to head stretching  your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, chest and back.

Strength Breeds Strength

The mental toughness you have shown in the first third of the 30-Day Challenge ia a credit to your will-power. Yesterday you celebrated and rewarded your strength of mind. Now is the time to combine your strong mind with a strong body. You will feel even more energized and will reap rewards of confidence and improved body composition.

I won’t say how many times to do this workout. It could be done one, two, three, or even four times a week. I want you to love the feeling of working your body whilst eating your clean diet. If you love it, you will want to do it again and again. If it wasn’t for you, try a different workout. Just get moving!
