The Relax Day Experiment Week 10: 4th Anniversary Week!
This week is Tom’s and my 4th wedding anniversary! I’m excited to spend extra time with Tom and be productive with my business. I also have some fun workouts I’m doing this week.
Read on below to see how my week went.
Sunday, July 28th:
Today I started my day off with a workout. I did TurboFire‘s HIIT 25 Class + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the PowerPlate. Loved it.
I did planning and work for tomorrow and took care of items for my business. I spent time with Tom after he finished work. We also went for a walk which contributed to Friday’s workout from last week.
Day 64 complete. Had fun with my intense workout today!
Monday, July 29th:
I coached in the morning, which included coaching some ice skating judges and working on the ice dance “Finnstep”. It was fun to coach the most challenging compulsory dance there is!
I then worked on my business for a couple of hours and did my workout. I did a Pilates and dance cardio routine I created. It was fun and effective.
After my afternoon work, I did some writing and more work on my business.
Day 65 complete. A productive and successful day!
Tuesday, July 30th:
I started my day by taking care of some important tasks and a workout. I did a 10-hour strength, full-body weights workout of my creation + 10 minutes full-body stretching.
I had a business phone call and business items to attend to, and then I cooked tonight’s dinner. For dinner I made a spinach and garbanzo bean curry dish served over a combo of brown rice and quinoa, which was lovely and healthy.
I did some product creation and research, prepared a speaking proposal, and did some other work. After Tom and I were finished with our work for the day, we spent some quality time together.
Day 66 complete. A good day filled with productivity and quality time!
Wednesday, July 31st:
I took care of some business tasks followed by a workout. Today I did TurboFire’s HIIT 20 Class + 25 minutes of Pilates + 15 minutes foam rolling and full-body stretching on the Power Plate. It was a great combination of cardio, toning, core strength, and flexibility.
I then did some writing, product development, and work on my business.
After finishing coaching at 8:15pm, Tom and I spent the rest of the evening taking care of two important tasks and spending time together.
Day 67 complete. I enjoyed working on my business today!
Thursday, August 1st:
I started my day by doing some important business tasks. Then I did a 1-hour strength workout of my creation + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate.
I made a smoothie with fresh vegetable juice, 1 scoop whey protein, and frozen mixed berries. I’m healthy and feeling good.
I worked on my business and coached in the afternoon after I ran some errands and did some writing and product development. I took care of some important tasks with Tom, went for a walk, and then we relaxed together.
Day 68 complete. I’m loving my strength workouts at the moment!
Friday, August 2nd:
After morning work, I did my workout. Today I did TurboFire’s HIIT 15 Class + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate. A quick workout, but effective.
I proceeded to work through my important tasks list for today, did some writing, and worked on my business.
After work in the afternoon, I did product development and wrote some more. Tom and I took care of a couple of tasks before we enjoyed our Friday evening together. We then went to a movie.
Day 69 complete. A great day!
Saturday, August 3rd:
Today is Tom’s and my 4-year wedding anniversary! It’s such a special day! After work, Tom and I gave each other cards and presents. In the evening Tom had some special surprises for me! We had dinner at an award-winning Mexican restaurant, El Agave. Then we attended an awesome up-close magic show in Old Town. The magician kept having me come up front to help with tricks!
Dessert after the show was yummy. Today was my relax day and rest day from workouts.
Day 70 complete. It was a wonderful 4th wedding anniversary!
A great week! I had a very productive week and lovely time spent with Tom! My body has been feeling super, and I feel I am getting a lot stronger!
Yay! I’ve completed my 10th week!
