5 Exercises You Can Do Anywhere

December 28, 2014 By Tom30-Day Challenges, Exercises, Fitness

No equipment. No weights. No machines. You can do these exercises any time, anywhere … airport, library, hotel room, office, you name it!

5 Exercises You Can Do Anywhere

I was at an event last night where I was outside for longer than expected. It was also colder than expected. So to keep myself warm, I did some of these moves. The best thing about these moves is that you can perform them anywhere!

Push-Up

A great exercise for upper body and core strength. Being in this prone position works your core muscles and shoulder stabilizers.
Multi-Planar Lunges

Multi-planar lunges are an awesome lower body exercise. Lunges work pretty much every muscle from toes to rib cage. By performing them in different planes, you can challenge your muscles in different directions.
Single Leg Romanian Deadlift

A great exercise for activating the glutes! This move is perfect to wake those glutes up before a workout or after sitting for a long time.
Single Leg Squat

Another great way to activate your glutes. This is a fairly inconspicuous exercise you can perform anywhere … waiting for a bus, brushing your teeth or in the office.
Alternating Leg Squat

This is a sort of regression for a single leg squat. You have the stability of having the second leg for support, but most of the work is done by one leg at a time.

    Respected Tom Parkin,
I was searching best exercises in Google. I am here with the help of Google. Frankly speaking, these all exercises are very natural and very easy. I will make a timetable for these exercises. Because these all are very useful for fitness.
I will sourly implement on these exercise tips.
I’m going to bookmark this page.

Thanks guys, I have been trying some of these exercises for the last few days and I sure can feel it now. They are a lot harder then you make it look. As a mother, I don’t often get lots of time to exercise so that’s why I like these exercises so much.

These are great exercises! I’m a physiotherapist and work with patients who have a wide variety of injuries. I also work on my patients on prevention of injuries. These exercises listed above are my go to exercises. Most of them require good core strength, balance and multiple muscle groups. They are very functional..meaning that they reflect movements that are bodies require for daily living. I love that you can do these exercises anywhere as well! Thanks for sharing! I will definitely be sending my patients to your videos.

Have bookmarked the videos and play them while doing my exercises…..very easy to follow, no equipment or tools needed (anyway most of the workout equipment I purchased is gathering dust in some corner of my house!)
