5 Reasons to workout todayAre you scheduled for a workout today? Are you thinking of skipping that gym session? Feeling too tired? This post is for you! Here are 5 reasons for you to go get your sweat on.

1. Exercise boosts your mood

Exercising makes your body release serotonin. Serotonin is a natural chemical found in your body. When your body releases serotonin, you tend to feel happier. You will have no doubt felt this sensation. Runners call the rise in serotonin levels the “runner’s high”. If you don’t run, you can still get this high. Aim to raise your heart rate for at least 20 minutes to boost your mood.

2. Exercise improves concentration

When you exercise, your heart rate and circulation increase. Your lungs take in more oxygen, and your heart pumps more blood around your body. This means your brain can be supplied with more oxygen and fuel. Your brain can operate much better like this.

3. Exercise improves body image

With regular workouts, you can make positive changes to your body. You can create the body you’ve always wanted for yourself. The keyword is regular. Infrequent workouts will seriously hamper your progress. SO DON’T SKIP TODAY!

4. Exercise reduces stress

If you have trouble with stress in your life, it’s time to get sweating! When you feel stressed out, that’s the perfect time to perform a tough, intense workout. Take out some aggression. Lift some weights. Try some sprints. Hit the punching bag. Afterwards you will thank yourself. You will feel calmer and able to re-focus.

5. Exercise increases longevity

A longer, healthier, happier life … how about that for a reason to get moving today! Regular exercise will lower your chances of suffering from heart disease and cancer and will also contribute to your being an overall healthy individual. It’s a fact that those people who exercise regularly tend to live longer lives.

    Victimes de la route, Aide aux Victimes est à vos côtés.
    Un accident de la route est souvent très traumatisant pour la victime et ses proches : la complexité des procédures d’indemnisation et des poursuites pénales ainsi que le nombre d’intervenants est particulièrement angoissant.
