5 Ways to Put Passion into Your Fitness This February

February 16, 2011 By Christina ChitwoodFitness

February is heart month, the month of love!  A date or romantic night with a loved one is something to look forward to. If you put that passion into your fitness, then just think of the results you could see!

Here are 5 ways to put passion into your fitness this month:

1. Work out with your significant other. What better way to work out than to work out with the one you love! You can support each other, encourage each other when one needs a little motivation, and celebrate each other’s achievements.

2. Work up a sweat at home. We all know those endorphins can be created with your husband or wife! Set that time aside with your loved one to work up a sweat.

3. Go for a walk or jog together. It’s sometimes difficult to get time alone with your loved one, so why not catch up on the day’s events with a refreshing walk or jog together. If you’re lucky enough to have some beautiful scenery near you, you can also take advantage of that.

4. Do you love to dance? Maybe you and your partner could take dance lessons together, go to a club to dance, or go to a Zumba class!

5. Play some sports. Take the opportunity to try out some new sports with your partner, or play the sport you both love more often. If you both like different sports, maybe you could trade off playing your favorite one week and your partner’s the next.

Remember, heart month isn’t just for partners – it’s also for family! Take the opportunity this February to work out as a family by playing sports together or going for a hike. Whatever activity you choose, put your heart into it – and enjoy! 🙂

#3 I’d say really works. Its more exciting and more interesting when we exercise with a partner. Its also a good idea to play sports with our loved once, I’d say that its one way of spending quality time with our loved ones.

Thanks for your comment, Bob! I agree #3 is a great way to spend time with each other. Very true about playing sports! Have a great week! 🙂
