The Relax Day Experiment Week 8: A Productive Week! The Relax Day Experiment Week 8: A Productive Week!

The week ahead is a busy one as I prepare my students for their final week before ISI Worlds and continue with my writing and other work. I’m planning to have a very productive week, including some new intense workouts! Read on below to see how my week went.

Sunday, July 14th:

I started the day taking care of work items and working on an important project. I spent some quality time with Tom and also caught up on to-do items.

Tom and I went for a swim and swam laps for our workout today. We also did hot and cold treatments using the hot tub then pool.

I prepared for the week ahead and did some writing.

Day 50 complete. A productive day including relaxation!

Monday, July 15th:

After work in the morning, I took care of work items and worked out. I did TurboFire‘s HIIT 20 Class.

I worked in the afternoon, ran some errands, cooked a yummy Garbanzo Bean and Spinach Curry, and did some writing.

Day 51 complete. A busy and productive day!

Tuesday, July 16th:

A day off with Tom is always lovely! We started the day running some errands and then went to a matinee movie, Lone Ranger. It was entertaining, but I wouldn’t watch it again.

We had lunch at home followed by some fun exercise. We did about an hour of Wii Fit, which is mostly just enjoyable with the bonus of some exercise. Then we went for an hour-and-a half swim at the pool for laps.

A great workout, especially for a summer evening and with your spouse!

I did some writing and watched some CSI: Miami with Tom. It’s so special to have a day off with Tom again on a regular basis!

Day 52 complete. A fun pool workout today!

Wednesday, July 17th:

I started my day with a workout. I did a 45-minute strength workout of my creation + 10 minutes full-body stretching.

I then took care of some work and tasks before working until 8:15pm at the ice rink. I had dinner, did some writing, and relaxed.

Day 53 complete. Another productive day!

Thursday, July 18th:

I had a hair appointment and did some work at the same time. After work, I ran some errands and had dinner.

Then Tom and I went for a walk around our local park for our workout. Today my body felt like it was asking for a lighter workout, so I listened to my body.

I did some writing, took care of some high-priority items, and relaxed with Tom.

Day 54 complete. I always enjoy walking!

Friday, June 19th:

After work in the morning, I took care of my high-priority list.

After afternoon work, I ran some errands, took care of some work, and did some writing.

Today was my rest day for workouts.

Then Tom and I went for dinner at Basil Thai Bistro and watched Snitch at home.

Day 55 complete. A busy but nice day!

Saturday, June 20th:

I worked morning into afternoon, relaxed, then went for a walk with Tom. The walk was our workout today. I love walking because it’s good exercise but also great for talking.

I did some writing, and Tom and I spent some quality time together for the rest of the day.

Day 56 complete. It’s great to spend quality time together!

I had a good and productive week! It was wonderful to get some big tasks done and spend quality time with Tom!

Yay! I’ve completed my 8th week!
