With summer weather still here, I love spending time at the beach or on the golf course. Along with the intense sun comes the need for easy makeup that won’t melt in the heat.
Here are my absolute essentials if I’m not going to wear much makeup at all:
Sunscreen
Mascara (waterproof if you’ll sweat a lot or be in the water).
Bronzer and/or Blush
Lip Gloss or Lip Stain
Here’s my everyday regular makeup for summer:
Sunscreen
Concealer (small amount of concealer under the eyes – I use this for dark circles under the eyes.)
Cream and Pressed Powder Foundations
Bronzer
Blush
Eyeliner
Eye shadow
Mascara
Lip Gloss (I often add lip pencil first for longer-lasting color!)
This might sound like quite a few items, but it’s very quick and easy to put on once you’re used to it. It takes me about 10-15 minutes.
Here’s what I love to wear when I go to the beach to go surfing or swimming:
Sunscreen
Bronzer
Waterproof mascara
Lip Stain
There are many different variations you can do. These are some of my favorites. I hope they help you enjoy the rest of the summer weather! 🙂
I am afraid if I get wet, these ones would fade. But I will still follow the ones you have shown. I am afraid I won’t make myself wet when I have this on.
Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for your comment, Elissa! It is common for these or any makeup to fade when you get wet. That’s why the waterproof mascara is important, as it will make your eyes pop and without looking overly touched up. If you’re worried about getting wet, you can always bring your sunscreen, bronzer and lip balm along to touch yourself up in the bathroom after you’ve been in the water. If you want a little extra tint, there is sunscreen that has a slight tint to it for your face. Also, if your eyeliner doesn’t tend to run in the water, which most don’t, you can use eyeliner for a little extra definition. I hope this helps!
Oh! I appreciate your tips Ms. Christina. You are so dear to answer my comment. I am yet a teenage and I am really wanting to improve. I basically tend to look for my mom to have best ideas. I am quite a shy girl. Thank you so much!
Happy Day Ms. Christina! I would look forward for more tips!
Elissa 🙂
Make up in summer is a huge risk. We need to take several tips to make the make up stay long. Because of sweating chances are more of loosing the make up quickly. It is nice that you have made an effort to make the make up stay longer.
Great post..
Some of the other tips that I go for are-
1. Wear sheer cream eye shadow
2. Apply concealer sparingly
3. Refresh your body
4. Pick smudge-proof formulas
It really helps and keep you fresh all day.. 🙂
