Thoughts on the week – With summer in full swing now, my work schedule can get extremely busy. I have found morning practice sessions productive and fun and think they will help me achieve my long-term goals. That being said, over the summer I work many mornings so I can’t really get practice in then.
The next few weeks will be even busier, but fun, as I have lots of exciting summer golf classes on. I don’t expect to get much practice in over the next few weeks. So quality over quantity!
What you can learn from my experience
We have all complained at some time that we don’t have enough time to practice golf, or any other sport or hobby for that reason. So make sure you make the time you do have count!
Try this exercise:
– Write down the amount of time per week you think you can devote to practice so you know what time you have.
– Write down 10 ways you could make that practice time more efficient. Maybe prep all equipment/clothes the night before or write down exactly what you will work on that session.(Answers are easier at the start! The last couple will take some time)
– Learn from mistakes and adjust how you practice to become even more efficient.
Goals for next week –
I complete 45 minutes of practice per day by July 25th 2013
