Sunday, May 19th:

Today is day three and the final day of the Merrithew Mindful Movement World Tour 2013! The fitness conference has been informative and enjoyable. Today I attended: CORE™ Dynamic Resistance Training with Tubing (2-hour course), STOTT PILATES® Matwork Flow Conditioning Sequence Workout with Weights (2-hour course), STOTT PILATES® Athletic Conditioning on the Mat (2-hour course), and HALO®™Foundations to Integrated Bodyweight Training (2-hour course)! A great weekend!

Today my workout was another 8 hours of working out during the fitness conference! I brought nuts and whey protein for snacks to keep my energy up through the day.

Before I drove back to San Diego in the evening, I walked on Manhattan Beach. A beautiful view!

Day 176 complete. I had a great weekend at the fitness conference!

Monday, May 20th:

After work in the morning, a lovely long walk with Chea and full-body stretching was the perfect workout to get my heart rate up and lengthen my body after three 7-8 hour days of working out.

I had a bunch of things to catch up on after being away for the weekend, so I took care of that. Worked again in the afternoon and then did some writing and to-do items.

Day 177 complete. I’m back in the groove of things!

Tuesday, May 21st:

Tom and I went to a matinee movie of Star Trek. It’s great fun to see early movies. Then we had lunch at Z Pizza where I was able to get a gluten-free and vegan vegetable pizza. It was delicious! Tom and I spent the rest of our day off together and enjoying each other’s company!

Day 178 complete. A day off with your spouse rocks!

Wednesday, May 22nd:

I worked in the morning, took care of to-do items, did some research on my fitness product, and worked until 8:15pm.

Tonight was the Kroc Exhibition. My skaters did a great job!

For my workout today, I did a TurboFire workout. I did TurboFire HIIT 25 Class + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate.

Day 179 complete. Great job at the exhibition to my skaters!

Thursday, May 23rd:

For my workout today, Tom and I went for a 30-minute walk + 45 minutes of my workout creation (strength exercises and abdominal work) + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate.

I worked through some of my to-do list, wrote, and worked on my fitness product. After work in the afternoon, Chea and I did some grocery shopping. I did some more work on my fitness product.

Day 180 complete. I had a productive day.

Friday, May 24th:

After work in the morning, I took a quick nap before going to my endocrinology appointment (thyroid specialist). It was very interesting to get my blood-test results as I’ve not had them tested since the end of January. I will update you on those results in the review of my 6-month experiment.

After work in the afternoon, I did my workouts. I did TurboFire HIIT 25 Class + INSANITY Cardio Abs + 10 minutes of stretching on the Power Plate. Intense workouts combined!

I spent some time with Tom and got ready for tomorrow’s photo shoot.

Day 181 complete. I had an intense workout tonight, and it was great!

Saturday, May 25th:

I started my day off by taking my measurements and weight on the last day of my 6-month experiment! I will update you in the review of my 6 month experiment on Friday. Then I did my workout, which was a TurboFire Fire 30 Class + 10 minutes full-body stretching on the Power Plate. I then went to my massage, which was awesome. The masseuse worked on my back and shoulders the entire time. I needed it.

I proceeded to get ready for my photo shoot and then drove to UTC, the photo-shoot location. The photo shoot was a success … it was fun posing on the rocks (and more)! Visit on Wednesday to see my Ellie photo-shoot post!

Chea and I went to Z Pizza for a late lunch/dinner after the photo shoot and had a gluten-free and vegan vegetable pizza. I spent the evening with Tom, and prepared for tomorrow’s competition that my students are competing in.

Day 182 complete. The photo shoot was a blast!

I’m happy to say my 6-month experiment was a success. I made it!!! The photo shoot was fun to do at the end of it, too! Watch for my review of my 6 month experiment!

Yay! I’ve completed my 26th week out of 26 weeks! It’s absolutely awesome to have successfully completed my 6-month experiment!!!

Be sure to check out my original 6-Month Nutrition and Fitness Experiment post for a list of all my posts and recipes!

My own variation of a sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free vegetarian diet:

Sugar-free consists of no sugar, sugar substitutes, honey, or other equivalent except for a small amount of preferably natural sweetener that is already in a product such as bread or whey protein.

Dairy-free includes a few exceptions. I’m including whey protein. I also have times of experimenting with Greek yogurt and regular yogurt to see if they are beneficial to me. In addition, I include eggs in my diet, which is a variation from a vegan diet.

Gluten-free also includes a few exceptions. I include Ezekiel Bread or sprouted bread, which is close to gluten-free in how it’s digested but not actually gluten-free. Some gluten-free plans say oats are fine and some do not. I include oats in my plan.

My fitness plan:

My exercise consists of workouts 6 days per week. The only exception can be if I do an additional workout on a day to count for one of the days or on a recovery week every few months.
