Here’s another entry from my “Ways golf parallels life” word art series. Playing golf can teach you so much about life and instill some outstanding character traits in young people who learn to play the game.
Anyone who has played a bit of golf has most likely gotten themselves into some trouble at some point … in the trees or a deep bunker. We sometimes have the thinking that if we could just hit this hail Mary shot we would be back on track, forgetting that the shot may be 1 in 50 even for a player way better than ourselves. It is often best to accept we are in a bind, cut our losses and play to safety so that we can then advance forward again.
