Full-Body Blaster Pilates and Strength Workout {Fitness Tutorial}

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS WORKOUT

A Mat (This is the mat I’m using in the video: here. It has gone way up in price since I received it a couple years ago at the IDEA World Fitness Convention.)

A Water Bottle (Preferably a glass water bottle.)

Maybe a Sports Towel

FULL-BODY BLASTER PILATES & STRENGTH WORKOUT TUTORIAL

FUN, FULL-BODY, DANCE-STYLE WARMUP

Before you do the workout, make sure to do this warmup (blog post tutorial) first!

EXERCISES IN FULL-BODY BLASTER PILATES & STRENGTH WORKOUT – YOUTUBE VIDEOS

These exercise breakdowns are to help you learn each exercise, develop good posture, and become more knowledgeable about the exercises you’re performing. You can go through the breakdown of each exercise as many times as you’d like. I do recommend doing each exercise breakdown at least once to develop a better understanding of the workout. Even if you’re familiar with the exercise, it’s always helpful to review.

Plank Knee to Shoulder Exercise – Abs of Steel (blog post exercise tutorial)

Bird-Dog Exercise – Back Pain Buster (blog post exercise tutorial)

Back Extension – Solid Back and Stable Shoulders (blog post exercise tutorial)

Arms apart in a Y-position above your shoulders for this workout. Palms face each other, squeeze shoulder blades down and back together as you lift.

V Sit Up Exercise – Flat Abs and Long Body in One (blog post exercise tutorial)

Push Up Exercise – Toned Arms and Chest (blog post exercise tutorial)

Push ups against a wall for this workout. Place hands a little below shoulder height, so you are at an angle. Bend elbows at a 45-degree angle.

Sumo Squats – Toned Legs and Butt (blog post exercise tutorial)

Dorothies – Fun Cardio for a Toned Body (blog post exercise tutorial)

Do this workout at least one time. You can repeat this workout however many times you want to make the workout longer. You can also do this workout and then add one or more of my other workouts.

This workout will get your full body working and feeling it in only a short period of time! One exercise that I really enjoy, gets me breathing harder, and is a dance-style strength exercise is the dorothies exercise I created.
