It’s been an interesting week and I’m excited for Christmas! It’s been super busy leading up to the holidays, and this week has been filled with ups and downs. Read on to see how my week went.
Sunday, December 16th:
I had a lovely sleep in and felt nice and rested! I took care of my to-do list and had some relaxing me-time today.
I did Fire 45 Class (which is intense cardio and intervals) + Stretch 40 (yoga with a few additional stretches.
Day 22 complete, and I feel nice and rested !
Monday, December 17th:
I have a lot of holiday errands and last minute items to take care of. So, when I’m not working or working out, I’m going through my to-do list.
Today I did Fire 45 EZ Class (more of an intense steady state cardio class with less intervals. Still very intense!) + Stretched for 10 minutes on PowerPlate!
Day 23 complete and a good start to the week!
Tuesday, December 18th:
I had a very productive day today. I started the day out with my workout.
My workout today was HIIT 25 Class (High Intensity Interval Training. In Turbo Fire they are called fire drills. Shorter workouts but extremely intense! ) + stretched for 10 minutes on the PowerPlate.
Day 24 complete … and I love being productive!
Wednesday, December 19th:
Super busy day! I worked a lot of the day and took care of things otherwise.
This was my rest day from working out.
Day 25 complete, and it’s getting closer to Christmas!
Thursday, December 20th:
I’ve finished up last-minute Christmas shopping! Yay!
I did HIIT 15 Class today (High Intensity Interval Training. It amazing how intense a 15 minute workout can be!) + stretching.
Day 26 complete and only 4 more days until Christmas!
Friday, December 21st:
I started the day off with Fire 45 EZ Class + stretched for 10 minutes on the PowerPlate.
I worked and finished up more of my to-do list. Tom and I went to Fashion Valley Mall to pick up his Christmas gift!
Day 27 complete and only 3 more days until Christmas!
Saturday, December 22nd:
Today I woke up and was very surprised to be feverish. I had aches, chills, and a furry feeling in my mouth. As my work progressed, I felt much worse, especially since the rink has been extra cold lately and I was experiencing chills the entire time. As soon as I got home, I went right to bed to get some rest and try to get better faster. I definitely have the flu again, and it’s worse than last time.
There are a few possible reasons as to why I have the flu again:
1. I never fully got over the flu I had a couple weeks ago and it flared up again. 2. I caught the flu again. It’s been going around like crazy! 3. My body is still detoxing.I hope I will be healthy again for Christmas. Today I didn’t workout as I felt it would be more harmful than helpful.
Day 21 complete, and only 2 more days until Christmas!
My meals this week have been scheduled around what healthy things we have in the house. So, it’s been nice figuring out what we could have with what was there. It’s also nice to have a little less food around leading into the holidays. My cravings this week have been way better and a lot easier to handle! It’s definitely easier the longer I stick with it! I’m super excited for Christmas, and it will be very interesting to see how it is with my nutrition experiment at Christmas!
