All individuals need inspiration in different ways for getting into character. How you get into character may be completely different from how your friend, teammate, or co-worker gets into character. I love using movies and TV shows to inspire character!

Here are some that I love to use:

Any dance movie. I always feel motivated and inspired after watching a dance movie!

Musicals. I enjoy musicals, as I love the singing and dancing. I love movies such as Moulin Rouge, Chicago, and Burlesque.

Inspirational or spiritual movies. These may or may not work for you, but they’re worth a try!

TV show 24. 24 is a great show to inspire you to be strong and use your inner and outer strength.

TV show Glee. Glee is a great show to inspire your inner performer. Whether you are a singer, dancer, or actor, it’s a fun way to find that inner performer.

Any movie. Sometimes watching any movie can help you discover what you want to use to get into character.

Competitions, shows, and more. On TV, there are skating competitions, ice skating shows, sports games, performances of dance and gymnastics, and more.

Whatever works for you is great! If you don’t have something yet, try some of the above and see what works for you. You may find a certain type of movie always lifts your spirits, another type inspires you to be your best, and another encourages you to try new things. I’d love to hear what shows, sporting events, performances, or movies inspire you! 🙂

Its true that there are many things that would build ones character. Once they are introduced to it they easily adopts and let them think that they should do the same thing too.
