NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2020 TIPS
How awesome that you can start shopping fall items at reduced prices rather than full prices. Even if you aren’t thinking of your fall wardrobe yet, there are many items that will work for warmer weather. Plus, there are so many great fall items that you will probably want to pick up at least a few items that are highly discounted.
Here are some tips to help you make the most of the sale!
1. Make a list of items you’re wanting or needing! This will help you shop quicker and find what you’re looking for easier. I’m especially looking for loungewear, activewear, tie dye pieces, shoes, handbags, and beauty picks.
2. Check out my sales guide and any Nordstrom Anniversary Sale LIKEtoKNOW.it’s and blog posts to help with selecting your favorites!
3. Start saving your favorites now from my LIKEtoKNOW.it’s and/or blog posts for quick and easy shopping before the sale starts and throughout the sale!
4. Take advantage of shopping online and selecting either curbside pickup or delivery for a contactless shopping experience! This is the first year that the entire sale is available to shop online from the very first day of the sale (even for Icon status cardholders first sale date)!
5. Shop early! Things sell out super-fast, so try to shop as early as you can! Making a list can help you shop quicker, so it will also make it more likely you will get what you’re wanting before it sells out.
6. Buy two sizes if you’re not sure on sizing! There are free returns, so you can keep the one that fits best and return the other.
7. If you’re considering an item, buy it! It’s better to buy the item and return it than to have it sell out. Nordstrom has great free returns, so it makes purchasing and returning a simple process.
8. Keep checking back! If something you want sells out, keep checking back because it may get restocked! Many items get restocked throughout the sale. Make sure to check back often, though, because even restocked items sell out quickly again.
9. Keep shopping throughout the sale! Definitely buy your loves and must-have items right away! There are so many items that it’s very easy to miss something you’re needing, have been wanting, or see for the first time. I’ll be doing Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blog posts throughout the sale, so keep watching out for those. I’ll also be trying to continue to update you on restock alerts as much as possible in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. I want to help make shopping this sale easier and more enjoyable for you!
10. Have fun! There’s an incredible number of great items on sale, so it can be overwhelming at times. The most important thing is to have fun shopping!

Insider Access (Early access for cardmembers) can start shopping the sale August 13! Nordstrom cardholders can start shopping the sale August 13! Note: If you don’t already have a Nordstrom store card, you can get one here to shop the sale early access.
Public Access can start shopping the sale August 19! General public (if you don’t have or get a Nordstrom card) can start shopping the sale August 19!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends on August 30!
Prices go up August 31.
