O-mazing Omelet Recipes and Ideas

June 4, 2014 By TomNutrition

O-mazing Omelet IdeasThe omelet is a healthy staple meal throughout the world. There are French omelets, Spanish omelets, Thai omelets and more. Here are some great ideas for creating tasty omelets.

Goat’s Cheese and Green Onion

This is a classic mix. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Goats cheese is lighter than most cheese but nice and creamy, which goes perfectly with chopped green onions.

Sun Dried Tomato and Basil Spanish

For a more substantial meal, try a Spanish omelet. This a thicker style omelet like a giant pancake. This one is a great mix. Try serving a slice of this omelet with a green leaf salad topped with a raspberry vinaigrette.

Spinach and Ricotta

Another classic mix. Spinach and ricotta make great pasta dishes, but they also make tasty omelets. Try this omelet with your favorite medium-heat salsa.

Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese

Mmmmm, yummy. The sweetness of the caramelized onions goes perfectly with the bold bitter taste of the blue cheese. Not ideal to scoff this one before a business meeting, but you can indulge in this one all you like for dinner.

Avocado, Tomato and Onion

I had to include this one for a bit of So Cal style. Avocados have plenty of healthy fats, which can aid in weight loss and heart health. Avocados also go great with onion and tomato for a Latin feel. You could make this as a folded omelet or a thick Spanish omelet.

These are the kinds of ideas I have been looking for. Going low-carb has been a trial so quick tips to change things up like this help heaps.

I made an omelet today by sprinkling in a sheep and goat feta while it was still cooking. Took it to another level!

I love Omlet and i think most of the people love this recipe. Because the preaparation of omlet is simple & tasty. If when they want to eat omlet then prepared it with in few minutes by themselves 🙂
