Swimming Pilates Exercise – Strong, Sexy Back

February 11, 2014 By Christina Chitwood30-Day Challenges, Exercises, Fitness

Swimming Pilates Exercise - Strong Sexy BackThere’s something very sexy about a strong back. If you’re female, you can show off your lean, strong back with a dress that’s low cut in the back for a subtle sexy. If you’re male, a strong back shows through clothes as well as the next time you’re at the pool or beach.

This exercise will not only help your back become stronger, it will also work your entire core. For the males that wonder if Pilates is only for women, try some of the Pilates exercise we’ve been posting on our blog and YouTube. Then see if you still think Pilates is for girls. Pilates should feel challenging … and you will definitely feel it if you’re doing the exercises right.

Remember to follow along with our videos and subscribe to Fit Body Full Life TV for workouts, exercises, and to understand how to perform exercises effectively.

The One-Day Challenge

Follow along with us on the Swimming Exercise – For a Long Strong Back Video. Work to keep your shoulders rolled back and down to keep the tension out of your neck and shoulders. You should feel your upper back, glutes (butt), and abs working in this exercise. Your entire body wants to be long and strong.

You’ve completed 2 sets of 8 reps of Swimming with us in the video. We’d appreciate if you “like” the video when you perform the exercise. To take this challenge to the next level, do this challenge every time you walk through a door of your house and especially before you walk out of your house. You will be ready for work, pleasure, or a dinner out as soon as you’ve walked through the door!

I first heard about pilates when I was travelling around Australia about 20 years ago. I am not sure that it had made the UK back then. I thought that it was a new fad but it has just got bigger and more popular so it has massive benefits or else it would have died a death.

I am into swimming. Living on a small island you have no option. This is a top way for a strong back.

    Great stuff.

It’s always a good idea to work the back and the abs in conjunction because a strong core can save you years of pain in old age. Thanks!

    Dakak Beach

One of the loveliest, and perhaps the most popular Philippines beach holiday destinations, is Dakak Beach Resort. It has pristine blue waters, amazing dive sites which have an abundance of coral reefs and 15 hectares of lush, protected wood land which serves as habitat for native plants and animals.

Yoga/pilates for competitive swimming? I’m just wondering would pilates and/or yoga be good for improving flexibility and core strength? I’m looking for something to do during the summer break so when we go back after I’ll have good flexibility and strength as it has never really been that good, so it might help?

    Thanks..
