If you checked out our post on the plank, you already know the benefits of this core exercise. The T-Plank builds on this and adds a dynamic twist to challenge you more. T-Planks will work your entire abdominal section, including abs and obliques, for a flat, defined stomach. The harder you work at stabilizing your hips, spine and shoulders, the more you will get out of this exercise.
The T-Plank Challenge
More of a game today really! Find a friend or group of friends to “bet” against. Each chip is $5, a giftcard or whatever you like into the pot. Follow the video for 2 sets of 16. The person with the most sets of 16 in the day wins the pot. As always, reps only count if they are in good form. $5 is not worth injuring yourself for by pushing past your limits. That being said, if you can manage to sneak those push ups in between each rep, then why not? Work hard, work sensibly, have fun! Check out our T-Plank – A Classic with a Twist video!
