Do you want a fun workout? Do you love to dance? I am passionate about working out, and I love to dance. Combining the two and creating dance workouts is awesome!

“Turn Down for What” Dance Fitness Video

I’m excited to share this “Turn Down for What” dance workout I choreographed especially for you! There is a full dance workout to the song. Also, there is a breakdown of the steps if you’d like to go over them in more depth and be able to really go for it in the routine. I hope you have just as much fun dancing it as I did filming it!

Just Keep Moving

The main thing is to keep moving! You don’t have to perform each step perfectly. I know you’re doing great! Plus, you will get better every time you go through the workout.

The breakdown is made for you to go through as many times as you need. You may want to go through it before you do the full workout each time. You may want to do it one to three times and just do the full workout otherwise. Remember, it is for you, and what you need specifically. Use it to suit your needs best!

Keep your core activated throughout the routine by lengthening your body and drawing your belly button into your spine. You shouldn’t feel the moves or routine in your lower back. If you do find you feel it in your lower back, activate your abdominals and glutes even more.

Workout Ideas

Do a warmup before this workout and a cool-down after. You may also choose to do the breakdown a couple of times as you warm up.

Here are some ideas for you to use this workout (times are approximate):

10-Minute Workout – Do the breakdown 1x and full workout 1x. This would be slightly longer when cooling down.

20 -Minute Workout – Do the breakdown 2x and full workout 2x.

40-Minute Workout – Do the breakdown 2x and full workout 2x. Repeat breakdown and full workout alternating each 2x. Follow with approximately 5-minute cool-down.
