Christina and I both love creating these couples workouts. They are so much fun to design and to perform. This workout is based on pushing and pulling. These two movements use opposing muscle groups, so it is a great way to train the muscles. With the push exercise, you will be using mostly your chest muscles and triceps. With the pull exercise, you will be using mostly your upper back and biceps.
With both exercises, you will be working on core strength. Because you are pushing/pulling the other person, you will have to work extra hard to control the movement.
The “resting” person is holding a plank position for both exercises. Because the “resting” person is being moved by the other person, the plank becomes dynamic and tougher to hold. Aim to stay as solid as possible.

My husband and I rarely workout together but we love our run dates!
