Serene, Standing, Flexibility Cool-Down for Workouts

January 1, 2017 By Christina Chitwood30-Day Challenges, Fitness, Videos, Workouts

Are you looking for a cool-down to do after your workouts? Do you want a cool-down that you don’t have to sit down for? This serene, standing, flexibility cool-down is versatile and stretches a large portion of the body in only a short period of time.

Performing a cool-down after working out is essential! It helps prevent injuries, reduces muscle soreness, and improves recovery time.

30-Day Challenge: New Workout Every Day

This cool-down is great for any time and most workouts. If you’re doing the 30-Day Challenge: New Workout Every Day, this is the cool-down you will perform after you’ve completed your new workout for the day.

Awesome job! Keep up the good work!

Have Fun!

This serene, standing, flexibility cool-down also focuses quite a lot on balance. I like to combine stretches, such as the calves and back stretch, to stretch more of the body faster. If it’s difficult for you to combine the stretches, you can also perform each stretch individually.

What part of this cool-down is your favorite? Do you have a favorite stretch?

Have fun!
