WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS WORKOUT
A Mat (This is the mat I’m using in the video: here. It has gone way up in price since I received it a couple years ago at the IDEA World Fitness Convention.)
A Water Bottle (Preferably a glass water bottle.)
Maybe a Sports Towel
POSTURE-STRENGTHENING, HIGH-ENERGY PILATES & STRENGTH WORKOUT TUTORIAL

EXERCISES IN POSTURE-STRENGTHENING, HIGH-ENERGY PILATES & STRENGTH WORKOUT – YOUTUBE VIDEOS
These exercise breakdowns are to help you learn each exercise, develop good posture, and become more knowledgeable about the exercises you’re performing. You can go through the breakdown of each exercise as many times as you’d like. I do recommend doing each exercise breakdown at least once to develop a better understanding of the workout. Even if you’re familiar with the exercise, it’s always helpful to review.
Bird-Dog Exercise – Back Pain Buster (blog post exercise tutorial)
Plank – A Great Core Stability Exercise (blog post exercise tutorial)
A smaller type plank for this workout! Still a tough exercise, and it’s great for all fitness levels. Start on all fours, hands and balls of the feet on the ground, lift knees off the ground a couple inches, and hold. Alternate feet, lifting one foot off the mat a couple inches. Try to keep the rest of your body as still as possible and not shifting weight from side to side.
Back Extension – Solid Back and Stable Shoulders (blog post exercise tutorial)
Arms long by your side for this workout! Reach arms long and feel your fingertips trying to reach toward your feet. Palms face into your body as you extend off the ground.
Bridge – The Buns of Steel Exercise (blog post exercise tutorial)
Inchworm Exercise – Grow an Inch Taller (blog post exercise tutorial)
Multi-Planar Lunges – Lean, Sculpted Legs and Butt (blog post exercise tutorial)
Back lunges for this workout! This is the exact reverse of the front lunge. Start with feet together and bring one foot and leg backward and bend legs into a lunge. Push up and bring back foot together to the other foot.
Cross Jacks Exercise for a Sculpted Butt {Fitness Tutorial} (blog post exercise tutorial)

Do this workout at least one time. You can repeat this workout however many times you want to make the workout longer. You can also do this workout and then add one or more of my other workouts.

The exercises in this workout help improve posture through focusing on strengthening and lengthening your muscles. Work to have strong posture during the exercises to get the most out of this workout. The better your posture is while you perform this workout, the more it will help your posture outside of this workout. You will still need to focus on having good posture when you’re not working out, but you will be able to get into better posture, and, hopefully, it will feel better to hold good posture. This workout is also high-energy, especially the final exercise in the workout, Cross Jacks.
